HI I AM LEAH AND MY HUSBAND ANDREW,

I BOUGHT HIM ISTVAN THE VISLA FOR XMAS 2008 A SURPRISE, HE IS THE BEST EVER DOG I HAVE OWNED SO FUNNY, HE NEVER LEAVES OUR SIDE. WE ALSO HAVE AN OLDER DOG CASSIE WHO IS A STAFFY AND THEY TOTALLY LOVE EACH OTHER HE KEEPS HER YOUNG AND FIT, ISTY AS WE NICK NAME HIM LOVES LONG WALKS THROUGH THE MUDDY DENES EXPLORING, HE IS WELL TRAINED TO WHISTLE AND NEVER GOES TO FAR BEFORE LOOKING TO SEE WHERE WE ARE HIS FAVOURITE GAME IS HIDE N SEEK.
I VE NEVER OWNED A VISLA BEFORE AND HE IS A TRUE CHARACTER .

hungarian vislas

hello everyone,

me and my husband are proud owners of istvan hungarian visla, we are wondering if anyone knows where there are any near us in the north east so far we have seen 1, we were hoping to meet up and go for walks set up a north eastern team, any one who has any info please feel free to get in touch thank you

    Hi Leah - I'm Juliet...John & I have got 2 vizzies - Radar aged nearly 3 & Rio 11 weeks. We're glad you're enjoying the Vizsla experience - they really are very special...not that I'm biased or anything! We live in Bournemouth which is, obviously, a bit far away for all of us to meet but the UK Vizsla group is an excellent way to meet up with other owners in your area as well as being a very useful group re getting advice etc. Here's the link: http://groups.google.com/group/ukvizsla?hl=en

    thanks so much juliet, we've just returned back from newquay utterly amazing down there, i cant believe how many people stopped us to meet istvan saying how much he's a handsome dog, and people enquiring what breed he is, so sweet!!!
    we met a few vislas down there all so different the biches are so small and we met a 3yr old dog and he was huge so i think isty has still growth (my god ) !!
    thanks for link i will check it out am going to put the pics on now of isty on his hols
